Part-Time Shipping Manager – Bladenboro, NC
Duties: Candidate will answer phones, and greet customers with a high level of professionalism, multitask, meet deadlines and have Microsoft Word and Excel experience. The candidate will work directly with the customer service manager and plant manager.
PREPARE ONE SHIPMENT AT A TIME.
GO TO POST OFFICE AND EMAIL BILLS
SEND TRACKING NUMBERS TO EVERYONE
EMAIL INVOICES TO OUT AND ATTACH PACKING LISTS, LABELS AND BOLS OR UPS REPORTS. IN THE EMAIL, PUT NUMBER OF BOXES OR SKIDS THAT SHIPPED.
FILE ORDERS AND FAXED RECEIVING REPORTS ONLY AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN FAXED
SEND CUSTOMER INVOICES ONCE APPROVED THEN FILE THEM BY CUSTOMER
CHECK CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL MANY TIMES PER DAY
– Candidate must be detail-oriented and be comfortable with working meeting deadlines.
– Proficient within Word and Excel.
– Excellent demeanor over the phone and in-person
– Self-motivated and work autonomously
Schedule: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 10am to 5pm
