Carolina Staffing is looking for a Resort Maintenance/Landscaper with experience in Longs, SC!

*Must be able to pass a background test*

Responsibilities for Landscaping

· Responsible for the daily Horticulture operations in your assigned area as it is related to its detail, efficiency, and quality appearance

· Cares for interior plant material where applicable

· Pick up trash, leaves, branches, and other debris as needed

· Coordinate with other departments or specialists, and they might perform grounds maintenance duties if necessary

· Zero turns

· Work with designer to ensure expectations are met

· Complete inventory checks

· Address employee issues

Qualifications for Landscaping

· Ability to operate all yard maintenance power equipment such as mowers, hedgers, and trimmers

· Ability to use manual hand tools

· Ability to apply fertilizer to plants, shrubs, trees, and turf

· Ability to aerate, and apply seed and topper

· Ability to clean sidewalks and parking lots using backpack and hand blowers

· Knowledge of timers, valves, and sprinkler repairs a plus

· Conduct walk-throughs of public areas to ensure that cleanliness and maintenance standards are met

· Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with teammates

· Knowledge of horticultural practices with local plant materials

Schedule: Monday – Saturday

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm or 10:30am – 7pm

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Needs to be able to work holidays.
