Acts independently, with administrative and fiscal direction from the Team Leader HS&E. Develops, recommends and implements practical functional approaches to resolve important HS&EQ issues in support of business unit strategies for achieving customer satisfaction and assuring regulatory and policy compliance. Assures integration of HS&EQ requirements with company vision and values. Actively supports growth through permitting processes. Works with other functional leaders to integrate HS&EQ into other functional efforts. Actively leads employee teams for continuous improvement of HS&EQ goals. Ability to lead and conduct new hire orientation and training sessions. Administer hearing conservation test and monitor decibel level with all areas of the plant.

Understanding of workers compensation strategies.
Familiarity of TSCA requirements and MSDS formulation.
Strong program and budget management skills.
Experience/Education Required/Sought:
Knowledge of managing and resolving worker’s compensation cases.
Proven ability to drive safety culture and deployment of behavioral safety programs.
Possess a BS degree and 2 – 5 years of demonstrated progressive experience in either safety engineering, environmental, industrial hygiene or related science.

Salary: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
